Solve The Cube is a Roblox puzzle game made by the group Guess the Studios!. The official description sums it up as: "Have you ever solved a Rubik's Cube with your LIFE on the line? Memorize the key sequence, type it from memory to turn and solve the cube, and beat your rival to it!" Instead of dragging cube faces around with your mouse, you read a short string of letters, keep it in your head and type it as fast and as accurately as you can. Every correct letter turns the cube, and the first player whose cube is solved wins the game.
The experience was created on October 4, 2026 and grew very quickly. When we checked the Roblox API on October 25, 2026 it had 10,578,652 visits, 7,880 people playing at that moment, 11,039 favourites and an 82% like ratio (2,144 likes and 479 dislikes). Servers hold up to 30 players, but each race is a one-on-one duel at a table. The game title currently carries an [πEVENT] tag for the Halloween event.
The description also promises four things: set the fastest record, compete in races with other players, show off your puzzle skills, and play different cube types that use "the same real algorithms." That last point matters. The key strings you type are real cube algorithms translated into letters, so the better you understand how a real cube is solved, the easier the game gets. Players who can already solve a Rubik's Cube can pick ZERO ASSIST and solve a genuinely scrambled cube on their own.
This wiki collects everything we could verify about the game: codes, controls, solving methods, modes, modifiers, bots, badges, every Robux price and the Halloween event. Facts come from the official Roblox pages and APIs and from gameplay videos we watched frame by frame. Anything we could not confirm is labelled to be verified.
Three codes were working as of October 25, 2026, according to several code-tracking sites (Pro Game Guides, Game Rant and SuperCheats, all updated October 23β24, 2026):
| Code | Reward |
|---|---|
HALLOW | 2,000 Coins (Halloween event code) |
WELCOME | 500 Coins |
SUPINATOR | 10 Coins |
To redeem them, open the game, press the Codes button at the top right, type the code into the Enter Code box and press Redeem. Codes are case-sensitive and can only be used once per account. A separate pop-up gives +1,000 Coins for liking the game and joining the Guess the Studios! group, so do that too. Our codes page has the full list, expired codes and where new codes are announced.

When you join, a Rookie NPC in the lobby asks whether you know how to solve a real cube and can take you to the tutorial. After that the loop is simple:
Winning earns Coins, rating and battle pass XP. You spend Coins on faster solving methods, cube skins, chairs and crates. The beginner's guide walks through your first hour step by step.
Solve The Cube is a typing game. Gameplay footage shows ten letter keys in use: Q, W, E, A, S, D on the left and I, J, K, L on the right. On mobile they appear as on-screen buttons with an extra Undo button. The PC settings window has a Keyboard Keys tab with presets and a custom layout. Click any key there to rebind it, and the game also lets you change the turn speed.
The key bar at the bottom of the screen is the heart of the game. It shows the letters you have to type, highlights the next one and counts your progress. In footage the strings were 26 to 64 keys long, depending on the method and the scramble. Strong players type around five turns per second, which the stats screen calls TPS. See controls and keys for the full layout and keybind tips.

The Methods menu is the biggest upgrade in the game. Each method solves the cube with a different set of algorithms, so each one gives you different key strings. A method that needs fewer moves means fewer keys to type and fewer chances to make a mistake. Footage from mid-October 2026 shows:
Prices may change in updates. Our methods page compares them in detail.
The Gameplay column offers Default 3x3 (the standard memory race), Default 2x2 (a smaller cube with shorter strings), and Zero Assist 3x3 and Zero Assist 2x2. In Zero Assist there is no key sequence to copy. You get a real scramble and have to solve it yourself, which is the "solve a real scrambled cube yourself" option from the game description. More cube types were marked "coming soon" in the footage. The Zero Assist guide explains cube notation and a beginner plan.
Once you have played your first game, the table lets you add twists. Modifiers seen in gameplay are Quick Scramble, Sudden Death, Slower Scramble and Speedrun. Powerups are Freeze, Scramble and Blind. Freeze appears as a round button with a cooldown during a match. The exact effect of each one is to be verified by the developer, but the names give a good idea. Our modifiers page lists what we have seen.
If no one sits down, or you just want to warm up, you can challenge a bot. The bot selector showed opponent #2 of 17, and each bot has Speed, Accuracy and Reaction stats. Beating a bot for the first time gives a First Win reward. The bot in the footage gave 250 Coins and 200 pass XP. Bots get harder as you go down the list. A Practice tab also appears on the stats screen. See bots and first wins.
Coins are the main currency. You earn them by:
You can also buy Coins with Robux: Pile (1,000 for 25 R$), Bag (5,000 for 99 R$), Chest (15,000 for 249 R$) and Vault (50,000 for 699 R$). Coin Potions add +10% or +20% for 15 minutes, and the x2 Coins game pass doubles them permanently.
Your profile tracks Rating, Fastest solve, Average TPS and Best TPS (turns per second), Match wins, Win rate, Best streak, Games played, playtime, moves made and bots faced. Tabs split it by 3x3, 2x2, Zero Assist and Practice, and a match history lets you replay games. Rating Potions (+10% or +20% for 15 minutes) speed up rating gains. More in stats and rating.

Every price is on our game passes and shop pages. The developer hasn't published what's inside VIP and the packs, so we mark those details to be verified.
Coins and Robux unlock cosmetics. Cube skins include Iced Out (299 R$), RGB (399 R$), Anime (exclusive, 299 R$) and the Halloween Pumpkin Cube (499 R$), plus coin cubes such as a gold cube priced at 25,000 Coins in footage. Chairs replace the plain wooden stool you sit on: Spider Chair and Divine Chair (limited), Celestial Throne, Neon Overlord, Phoenix Perch, Frost Monarch and Inferno Crown. Crates in the lobby give random chairs, and the October 22 update added name plates, titles and name tags. See cubes, chairs and titles.
The π event added a Halloween lobby, the HALLOW code, a Halloween Pass (35 R$), a Pumpkin Chair, a Jack O Lantern Nametag and the Pumpkin Cube. All of them were created on October 22, 2026. In footage recorded on October 24 a banner read "7 days left until the Halloween battle pass ends", which points to an end date around October 31. That date is to be verified. See the Halloween event page.
There are four badges: Welcome (4.7M owners), First Win (3.0M), On Fire! for a 3-game win streak (700K), and Sub 5 for solving in under 5 seconds (only 3,087 owners). Details are on the badges page.
These dates come from item creation dates in the Roblox API. Full notes are on the updates page.
